INTRODUCTION
The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made on this resort website.
We strive to provide excellent services and accommodation to all our guests. Kindly read through all terms and conditions before you make a booking with us.
1. BOOKING
Upon you make a booking, full payment of your entire stay will be charged. No Booking shall be made as confirmed until the details and/or payments described in this paragraph have been provided.
2. METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept the following methods of payment,
(i) Debit Card
(ii) Credit Card : Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay
(iii) FPX Banking
(iv) eWallet : Boost, Touch'N Go eWallet, ShopeePay, SetelPay, Grabpay, MCash, MaybankQR(MAE), NetsQR, UnionPayQR
Any outstanding charges after you and/or your guests check-in to the resort must be paid and/or clear upon check-out.
3. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIME
In the event of security and prevention of any fraud cases, all guests are required to provide their booking reference and/or identity card or passport to valid their identity.
Check-in hour : 03.00pm
Check-out hour : 12.00pm
Early check-in & late check-out may subject to room availability and charges.
On the day of departure, we kindly ask all guests to vacate the room by 12.00pm.
4. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the booking and/or reservation, and it is to be paid upon check-in.
*Guest with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted from above tourist tax.
From 1st March 2024, a heritage tax of RM3 per night per room is applied in the island by local authorities to all booking and/or reservations. It is not included in the room rates, this tax to be paid upon check-in.
5. CANCELLATION POLICY & NO SHOW
The total price of booking will be charge upon the completion of booking.
Unless specifically mentioned otherwise in the cancellation policy, the Management does not charge a processing fee for cancellations.
Any cancellations requests received 14 days prior to the arrival date are subject to a minimum of a 1 (ONE) night cancellation fee, unless you are notified otherwise in the confirmation email.
In the event of,
(i) Any cancellation requests received within 14 days from the arrival date
(ii) Failure to arrive and/or check-in at the resort on arrival date
will be treated as No Shows and/or Late Cancellation and will incur a full charge of the whole booking and/or reservation.
No refunds will be processed in such events.

6. REFUND POLICY
The Management is committed to providing you with a simple and efficient refund process. Please note that shortening your stay during the peak season, periods of high occupancy, Malaysia public holiday season, during trade fairs and conventions, or failure to cancel your reservation prior to the due date noted on the above cancellation policy may result in a penalty charge. If a penalty charge is incurred, this will be deducted from the amount refunded.
Any refund of cancellation requests received 14 days prior to the arrival date are subject to a minimum of a 1 (ONE) night cancellation fee, unless you are notified otherwise in the confirmation email.
The process of refund of cancellation take time within 14 working days of receiving the requests, and any applicable penalty charge will be deducted from the amount refunded.
Unless specifically mentioned otherwise in the cancellation policy, cancellation requests submitted in the event of,
(i) Any cancellation requests received within 14 days from the arrival date
(ii) Failure to arrive and/or check-in at the resort on arrival date
will be treated as No Shows and/or Late Cancellation and will incur a full charge of the whole booking and/or reservation.
No refunds will be processed in such events.
If your refund is likely to take longer than 14 days to process, we will notify you via email upon receipt of your request.

7. CHANGE OF ARRIVAL DATE
Any requests for Change of Arrival Date are subject to room availability and management’s approvals.
Requests will be only valid for the event as follows:
(i) Requests are received 14 days prior to the arrival dates
(ii) Total booking of rooms is less and/or equal than 5 unit(s)
(iii) Only applicable for standard rated bookings

8. CHANGES OR CANCELLATION BY MANAGEMENT
In the unlikely event that your booking is cancelled by the Resort, you will be given a full refund, but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, use reasonable endeavours to try and/or re-locate any confirmed booking which cancelled by us to an alternative location similar in standard to the Resort.
9. CHILD POLICY
Children of all ages are welcome.
If extra mattress is required, additional charges will apply.
Children aged 12 years old & above will be charged as adults.
All children guests staying in the Resort must be always accompanied and supervised by an adult.
10. PETS
No pets are allowed in the Resort.
11. GUEST BEHAVIOUR
Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running operation of the Resort, and/or causes offence to other guests and our members of staffs. We reserve the final rights to refuse accommodation and/or service and/or remove you and your guests from the Resort if, in our reasonable opinion. We consider this provision to have been breached, where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expenses incurred.
12. ROOM POLICY
No Smoking and No Cooking
Guests are not permitted to smoke in the rooms.
Cooking using any electrical equipment or non-electrical appliances are strictly prohibited within the Resort areas.
Damage
We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit card, and/or any other payment gateway for any damage incurred to your room or the Resort during your stay (including without limitation for specialist cleaning) and/or for any items that are missing when you check-out from the Resort.
Prohibited Fruits
Durian, Mangosteen, Jackfruit, Dragon Fruit (Red Fleshed) are prohibited in the Resort.
13. FORCE MAJEURE
The Resort and the Management accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
14. PERSONAL INFORMATION
All personal information stored and used by us is done so in accordance with our Privacy Policy which is available on www.coralreefsresort.com.
15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Resort and the Management will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any property left in the Resort.
16. WEBSITE INFORMATION
Welcome to Coral Reefs Management Sdn. Bhd. (collectively referred to herein as “CRM”, “we”, “us”, “the Management” or “our”) website.
(i) All copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights used as part of this website are vested in CRM. You acquire no rights in the website other than the limited right to use the website in accordance with these terms. You are permitted to print out or download information and content from this website for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not offer for sale or sell or distribute over any medium, any part of this website or its content. You may not make any part of the website available as part of another website, whether by hyperlink framing on the Internet or otherwise unless you have been authorised to do so in writing by CRM.
(ii) CRM reserves the right at any time and without notice to enhance, modify, alter, suspend or permanently discontinue all or any part of this website and to restrict or prohibit access to it.
(iii) CRM does not warrant in any way, whether expressly or impliedly, the accuracy, reliability and completeness of the information and contents of this website. In no event, will CRM or any of its subsidiary or associated companies or related corporations or their directors and employees accept any liability regarding your use of this website and/or to the information contained on the website. Your sole remedy is to discontinue using this website.
(iv) This website and its contents do not in any way constitute any offer or invitation in respect of the shares in and securities of CRM or any other company.
(v) If you click on a link to a third-party site, CRM cannot accept responsibility for any use of your personal information by such third parties, and we cannot guarantee that they will adhere to the same privacy and security practices as CRM. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any other service provider from whom you request services. (vii) These terms and conditions and the content of this website are governed by Malaysian law, and Malaysian courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute.
